- Track repair — from about $295. Usually a stainless cap rail fitted over the worn channel, which gives the rollers a fresh running surface without cutting the old track out of the frame.
- Single-pane glass replacement — typically $600 to $900. A planning range, not a quote: glass is always measured on-site and confirmed before we order.
- Insulated dual-pane glass replacement — typically $1,200 to $1,300. This is the fix for a foggy panel, where the seal between the two panes has failed.
- Locks, handles and alignment. Often folded into a roller job, since a door that will not latch has usually just dropped on worn rollers. On their own, these fall under the minimum visit.

Four variables do most of the work:
- Panel weight. Impact and oversized glass needs heavy-duty hardware and two technicians to lift safely.
- Track condition. Light wear can be cleaned and dressed. A rail with a groove cut into it needs capping, which is additional work.
- Hardware brand and age. Mortise locks and handles vary enormously between manufacturers, and discontinued parts take sourcing time.
- Access. A ground-floor lanai door is quicker than a third-floor balcony slider or a pocket system that has to be worked out of a wall cavity.

Repair or replace? The actual maths
The frame is the deciding factor, not the age of the door. If the frame is square and sound, almost everything else is a wear part, and replacing wear parts is dramatically cheaper than replacing a door. A twenty-five-year-old aluminum slider with a good frame is usually worth re-rollering.
Replacement starts to make sense when the frame is bent, corroded through or water-damaged; when the glass has failed in a panel whose hardware is long out of production; or when you are already renovating and want a different opening.
