Stuck Door is a trade name of Tejera Industries Inc. This policy covers the
Stuck Door website and the Stuck Door mobile app used by our field crew.
Who the app is for
The Stuck Door mobile app is a work tool for our own employees. It requires a
company login. It is not a consumer app and it is not available to the general
public without an account issued by us.
What the app collects
- Account information. Your name, work email address and
role. Used to sign you in and to show you the jobs assigned to you. - Work records. Job details, appointment times, customer
names and service addresses, notes, line items and invoice status. These
are our business records, shown to the employee assigned to the job. - Photos and video you take on a job. Attached to the job
record so the office and the customer have a record of the work. - Time entries. Clock in and clock out times, used for
payroll. - A device notification token. An anonymous identifier
issued by Apple or Google that lets us send job alerts to your phone. It
does not identify you personally on its own.
What the app does not collect
- We do not track your location. The app has no background location access
and does not record where you are. - We do not use advertising identifiers, ad networks or third-party
analytics or tracking software. - We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone, and we do not share
it for advertising. - We never see your Face ID or fingerprint. Those are handled entirely by
your phone’s operating system and never leave the device. - We do not store your password on the device. Signing in exchanges it for a
session token, and that token is what the phone keeps.
Information stored on your phone
So the app keeps working where there is no signal, it saves a copy of your
upcoming jobs, and any changes you make while offline, to the phone itself. That
copy stays on the device, is sent to us when a connection returns, and is erased
when you sign out.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers that run the system on
our behalf, and only so far as they need it to do that job:
- Supabase, for our database and photo storage.
- Vercel, for application hosting.
- Expo, to deliver push notifications to your device.
- Google, to deliver email such as receipts and review requests.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Customer information
If you are a Stuck Door customer rather than an employee, we hold the
information needed to schedule and complete your service and to bill you: your
name, contact details, service address, and the record of work performed. We use
it to do the work you hired us for, to invoice you, and to follow up afterwards.
We do not sell it.
How long we keep it
Business and financial records are kept as long as we need them to run the
company and to meet tax and legal obligations. The offline copy on a phone is
removed at sign out.
Your choices
You can turn off push notifications for the app at any time in your phone’s
settings. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a
correction, or ask us to delete it, using the contact details below. Some records
we are required to keep.
Children
The app and this site are not directed to children under 13 and we do not
knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change how we handle information we will update this page and the date
at the top.
